Paice Tax and Accounting, Inc. is a locally-owned and operated company. Since we first opened for business in 1997 we have grown to one of the larger independent tax and accounting firms in northern Utah.

Staff Profiles

David Paice, EA – President, CEO, & Tax Preparer
Dave, along with his late wife Trish, started Paice Tax and Accounting in their home in 1996 as a part-time business. Dave holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Weber State University and has been licensed by the Department of the Treasury as an Enrolled Agent (EA) since 2001. Dave is also recognized as a “Fellow” by the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) which specializes in educating tax practitioners representing taxpayers before the IRS. Dave and his wife Stephanie live in Henefer. They are active in their church and have seven children and twelve grandchildren between them.

Stephanie Harmon, EA – Tax Preparer/Staff Accountant
Stephanie has been employed with Paice Tax and Accounting since 2015. She has a degree in accounting and earned her Enrolled Agent (EA) designation from the Department of the Treasury in 2018. She specializes in tax preparation for individuals and business entities. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and doing volunteer work with Utah Honor Flight, a veteran’s program, and is currently serving as the Director.

Sean Feehan – Tax Preparer/Staff Accountant
Sean has been with Paice Tax and Accounting since the summer of 2023. He enjoys helping people with their taxes and personal finances. Sean holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida Gulf Coast University and recently passed the Special Enrollment Exam to earn the designation of Enrolled Agent (EA) from the Department of the Treasury. Sean recently moved to Utah and enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with his wife Amber and son James.

Jordan Peterson, CPA – Tax Preparer
Jordan has nearly fifteen years of tax preparation experience.  He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Utah.  He also has his license as a Certified Public Accountant from the state of Illinois. Jordan joined Paice Tax and Accounting in 2022 as a seasonal tax accountant during the tax season.  The rest of the time, Jordan works as the Financial Controller at Nammo Composite Solutions.

Cassie Tweten – Bookkeeping Specialist
Cassie holds a Bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho and has worked in bookkeeping and payroll since 2013. She joined Paice Tax and Accounting in 2021 and enjoys meeting new people and assisting with payroll and doing bookkeeping. When she is not working at the office her three little children love to keep her busy. Because Cassie grew up in the Midwest and Southern states, she loves taking road trips to explore the area and spending time visiting family.

Marlene Mace – Bookkeeping Specialist/E-Filing Processor
Marlene worked at Paice Tax and Accounting from 2018 to 2021 as a Payroll Specialist, and after taking some time off came back in November 2022 to help us out with bookkeeping and efiling tax returns through tax season. She treasurer all of the payroll clients that she has worked with, and for the many lasting friendships that she has developed. When she isn’t working Marlene enjoys camping, fishing, and riding her new side by side with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with her eight grandchildren.
